CONFESSIONS OF A LOVER OF MOVIES

A couple of weeks ago, Xavier and I were looking for something to watch and the movie Toy Story was about to start. I thought to myself Hmmm I’ve never seen Toy Story. It’ll be the first for both me and Xavier. I confessed this on Facebook and of course, a lot of my peoples, particularly mothers were like “Say what? You’ve never seen what?!!” My husband and I have gone back and forth on childhood  movies that I’ve never seen. We start with movies and then pastimes or “childhood” skills, if you will. Again, a lot of them my brother and I didn’t do. Where we may have lacked, being the kids of military parents made up for it. I cherish my childhood. It definitely worked for us so no regrets on that end. This brings me to my post. I decided to list all of the movies that I have not seen. When speaking with other people, you would have thought I was an alien. I just laugh. It just reminds of how weird my family was. When reading this, no judgment but also don’t gasp so hard. I will hear it lol 🙂

Childhood movies I HAVE never seen

  1. The Goonies
  2. Beauty and the Beast
  3. Mary Poppins
  4. The Lion King (Finally saw it last month. I saw the play before the movie.)
